The mission of the Scalp Level Covenant Brethren Church is “linking young and old together in service to Christ and one another. ” The Scalp Level Covenant Brethren Church is founded upon the faith that there is but one God revealed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

 

We believe in the Father who in Holy love creates, sustains and orders all.  The Father so loved the world that He sent His Son Jesus to save the world from sin, judgment and death.

 

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord of the church and of all life.  We believe Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave conquering death and sin and that He ascended to heaven and will return to judge the living and the dead.  Jesus Christ is the way, the Truth and the life, no one comes the Father, except through Him.  There is no other name under heaven in which men are saved.  Jesus is our Lord and Savior.

 

We believe that the Holy Spirit is at work in the hearts and minds of believers, creating and sustaining the church through the gospel, giving guidance and comfort, and uniting believers with their Lord and one another.

 

We believe in the Bible as God’s Holy, inerrant and infallible Word (II Timothy 3:16).  We believe it is the Truth of God, written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and we conform our lives as a church and as individuals to it.  It is God’s standard for us by which we live and know Him more!

 

We believe that through faith in Jesus Christ, you can be saved from the wages of your sins which is death.  Jesus died that you might live eternally.  Through Christ sacrifice on the cross, you are forgiven.  Our mission is to share this good news, this gospel with all people that they might come into a relationship with Jesus Christ and be saved from their sins.  We invite you to join us and learn what it means to make Jesus Lord and Savior of your life!
